Hayward 6" SIMPLEX CPVC Cover Assembly with EPDM seals (BSX9611ASSYE) is part of a basket strainer system. 

• Sealing: This cover assembly is designed to close off the top of the strainer housing, ensuring a tight seal to prevent leaks. It includes EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) O-rings, which provide excellent resistance to water, chemicals, and UV rays, ensuring long-lasting durability.
• Filtration: The cover holds the strainer basket in place. Water flows through the basket and captures debris allowing the filtered water to pass through. This helps protect equipment like pumps from clogging or damage.
