Polaris Vac-Sweep 165 Surface Module Top, Granite (6-306-00)
The surface module top (granite) is a replacement part made by Polaris. Making this a genuine OEM product.
This module top is designed to be the protective layer for the internal parts of this cleaner that when combined make up the mechanism. This part is the heart of the cleaner that pumps the pressurized water that comes from the filtration system down into the sweep hose. It is vital that these parts are not exposed to any outside influence as they operate so that’s where the top comes into play.
The part itself is granite and is one of two pieces that cover the internals as there is a body bottom assembly that performs the same task as well as having some other features to go along with it. The top also has the Vac-Sweep 165 title and sits atop the water while the sweep hose cleans your pool's vinyl or fiberglass surface beneath it.
