The drive sprocket assembly is a replacement part made by Polaris. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.
This drive sprocket was built to able to rotate the chain which is wrapped around the wheel sprockets Sending enough torque and power to the cleaner’s wheels. This gives it the ability to climb the walls of your pool and cover the entirety of the pool's surface with speed and precision as it cleans, making it the best pressure-side pool cleaner on the market.
This part is black with teeth that run along its edge and has a gold-like center on its backside for the shaft from the gearbox assembly to be placed so that way it can rotate. Over the life span or length of use from this cleaner can cause the teeth to wear down affecting the rotating power of this sprocket. This ultimately means that it needs to be replaced to restore the cleaning abilities back to the cleaner.
