The hose set is a replacement part that is made by Pentair. They used the same high-grade materials that were used to make the original factory parts. This makes them genuine OEM products that all our customers can trust.
The hose plays the vital role of not only supplying the cleaner with the power to operate via the skimmer but also giving it the ability to reach across the entirety of the pool as it cleans. To properly install the hose, you want to attach it to the cleaner and then continue to install each section of the hose until it reaches the furthest point of your pool. Also, to make it easier when attaching the hoses, you want to wet the ends in the pool water then twist and push the female ends onto the male ends.
The male and female hose set comes in an aqua blue color and measures a total of 40' feet, so there will be enough hose to reach across most pools. Also, there is a section of the hose that has two female ends and is meant to be installed last as this hose was designed to connect to your pool's vacuum connection.
