Hayward AquaNaut 400 & 450/Poolvergnuegen Rear Gear Shaft
The rear gear shaft is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.
This gear shaft was created for the rear wheel hubs and is the object that transfers the rotating energy from the front wheel hubs to the rear so they can aid in its maneuverability around deep and larger than average-sized pools.
The part is black and comes with 2 white bearings that allow it to move freely also, there are 2 of these needed for each cleaner as there are 2 rear wheels. Now the gears can wear over an extended length of time and use of the cleaner so we recommend checking these parts periodically as they will need to be replaced.
