The wheel tread - finger hump - blue met (2 pack) are replacement parts that are made by Hayward. This makes them genuine OEM parts that all our customers can trust.
This tire is light blue in color and made from a solidified rubber material which gives the cleaner the ability to move with ease around the pool's bottom surface. This also gives the cleaner the ability to climb up and down the pool walls covering more surface area for a neat and clean pool. This tire was designed for vinyl pools and has humps to help get it over any obstacles like drain covers on the bottom surface.
When trying to troubleshoot an issue you are having with your cleaner not moving or grabbing the pool's surface as well as it was before you can always start by checking the cleaners tires attached to the wheel hub. These parts can wear and deteriorate over time based on the use of the cleaner which is an indication that it may be time to replace these parts when the cleaner starts having trouble with its maneuverability.
