Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 TankTrax Conversion Kit - What's In The Box

Welcome fellow ePoolSupply supporters! In today's blog, I will be going over the Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 TankTrax conversion kit. I will be going over what comes in the box and a little bit about the cleaner this is meant for. The Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 (Tank Trax) (F5T) pressure side pool cleaner is perfect for any in-ground pool and requires a booster pump. Powered by the double jet design, it creates greater vacuum power which provides faster cleaning on average in about 3 hours or less. The 280 connects to a dedicated pressure line so it can scrub, sweep, and vacuums every surface of the pool. This cleaner comes equipped with a single chamber filter bag where it can capture large debris like acorns, pebbles, leaves, and other various forms of debris both small and large.

The tanktrax conversion kit (C15) is a replacement part that is made by Polaris. The same high-grade materials were used to make the original factory parts. This makes them genuine OEM products that all our customers can trust.

This conversion kit was designed to replace most of the main components that separate this cleaner from the Vac-Sweep 280 and will convert it to mirror that same pressure side cleaner. These parts are what help provide the cleaner the power and ability to suck and pull dirt, debris, and other forms of mulch with speed and precision leaving behind a crystal-clear look in its path.

One of the first things that you will pull out of the box is the 280 white base. Under that will be the blue top and the large tanktrax. You will also see a bag with a bunch of parts and instructions. In the bag, it comes with an idler wheel and it will come pre-equipped with the bearings. It also comes with the full swing axle arm and all the little pieces to put it together. They also give you three new axles for your wheels and that will be what connects everything to your frame.
