Pentair Kreepy Krauly: What's in the Box?
It's What's Up Wednesday at ePoolSupply! Each week we like to discuss helpful tips and tricks regarding the pool industry. Today we will be discussing the Pentair Kreepy Krauly Suction Cleaner and the items included in the product packaging. Owning a pool cleaner can be quite a confusing adventure but it helps to have someone there by your side guiding you through each step of the process. Let's dive in!
Pentair Kreepy Krauly Parts
The Pentair Kreepy Krauly cleaner features a flat seal for concrete or plaster pools. As such, it isn’t recommended for use on pebble tech. Included is a thread-in skimmer adapter that connects directly to the pool's skimmer. The Kreepy Krauly Suction Side Pool Cleaner utilizes a dual flap system in order to free the cleaner of any slippage or obstructions in the pool. Should the cleaner become stuck, the flaps help the cleaner with mobility and stability while it moves around the bottom of the pool surface. This cleaning system also comes standard with an eyeball diverter for hard to reach places and water dispersion.
Setting Up The Pool Cleaner
For ease of installation, the cleaner comes from the factory with the footpad already installed making it that much more appealing to weekend warriors looking to upgrade or replace cleaners with minimal hands on work. The manual makes things simple and walks through everything you’ll need to know about this cleaner and how to get the most out of it for your pool's needs. The float keeps the cleaner upright and helps combat the cleaner rising above the water and sucking in unwanted air.
Hoses
At the top of the cleaner, you’ll find an oscillating hose swivel connection. This feature prevents the hoses from getting tangled or stuck on the cleaner or other pool features. It spins freely allowing the cleaner to do the same. Twelve hose links are included in the box so they can be interchanged for whatever length is needed. These high-quality hoses are one meter each and come in a light blue color. This cleaner is also available with a pleated seal as opposed to the flat seal featured here. The included warranty and rebate card make getting everything registered hassle free.
Warranty
A standard two-year extended warranty is the norm for Pentair equipment, and it is with this cleaner as well. With that being said the Suction Seals, Foot Pads, Wings, Bumpers, Straps, and Seal Flaps have a limited one-year warranty.
