About the Great White

First I want to give you some information on Pentair’s Kreepy Krauly Great White suction side pool cleaner. The Great White is recommended for a lot of basic plaster pools and sometimes different pebble tech pools because the bristles will get into all those crevices on the pool floor. The Great White cleaner comes equipped with bristle-drive technology which has the strength to loosen up the most stubborn dirt and debris. The powerful vacuum action can sweep away small and even large debris. Due to its programmed steering and 15-inch-wide dirt cutting path, this cleaner provides a cleaning job that gets done quickly and efficiently. What’s in the box?

Now let's get into the packaging of the cleaner. When you first open the box, you will see the cleaner head. The cleaner head has a dark gray bumper with a light gray shroud and a brush ring around the bottom. The next thing that comes in the box is a giant accessory bag of all the tools and extra equipment you may need. Right below I will talk about what comes in the bag. If you look in the box, you will see at the bottom of the box there will be another long box and in there you will see twelve hoses the one with the orange tag is your leader hose. The leader hose is what you will attach to the actual cleaner head. If you do not need all twelve hoses, keep them because over time they can wear and tear out in the sun and it is always best to have some on hand instead of having to go buy more.

What’s in the Accessory Bag?

When you open the bag you will see a threaded vacuum lock. The purpose of this part is to thread onto the dedicated suction port that you have on the side of your pool. If this is not the application your pool has, keep reading to find out the other options. The next thing you will find in the bag is the regulator valve. This will regulate the suction of your cleaner. Also in the bag, they give you a flow meter and this will show you your minimum and maximum flow and let you know if you're in the optimal range. Another thing you will see in the bag is the adapter that plugs into the top of the shroud it gives you the ability to hook up to the uni-adapt handle which they also provide. The uni-adapt handle allows you to manually scrub some of those hard-to-reach spots. Another thing that comes in the bag is a skimmer cone or also known as the reducer cone and this will keep the hose and vacuum regulator in place once the filter system is stopped. It also comes with the cap which goes with the regulator kit. The paperwork they give you in the bag is the manual, a safety tip sheet that tells you how to properly take care of the cleaner and your pool, and the warranty card.
