Pentair IntelliChlor SCG Power Center - What's In The Box

Welcome back, ePoolSupply supporters! I will be going over what comes in the box for the Pentair IntelliChlor Salt Chlorine Generator power center. I will also be going over a little bit about the product. About The Product 

This power center (EC-520556) supplies the power needed for the IntelliChlor Chlorine Generator cells to operate. The Pentair IntelliChlor can safely, effectively, and automatically use common table salt that you would normally eat food with, to produce all the chlorine a pool would need. It can provide sanitation performance the same as harsh chlorine additives without any drawbacks. This will eliminate the need to buy, handle, and or store chemicals.

What Comes In The Box

This transformer is made only for Pentair's salt cells so you cannot use this on any other salt cells. When you pick up the box you will notice this is pretty heavy so be careful while lifting it and moving it around. When opening the box you will notice the actual product is inside another box. After you take the box out and open it, the first thing you will see is the user manual. It is very important to read the user manual so you know exactly what you are doing and how to work this properly. The next thing in the box is the actual product, be careful taking this out because it is surrounded by cardboard to keep it from moving. At the bottom, it gives you placements for your power cable, communication cable, or whatever you need to put there. It also gives you a grounding bond with the copper on the bottom. On the front, you will need a Phillips head screwdriver to be able to see all the wires and get the full inside. If you do not know what you are doing or do not understand please contact a local pool professional to come out and help you install it. You want to be extra careful not to shock yourself.
