About The Product

The all-purpose bag (A16) is a replacement part made by Polaris. Making it a certified OEM product. This bag was designed to store all the dirt, debris, and other forms of mulch that are sucked up off your pool's surface. This bag is made from a durable vinyl-like material that is not only strong but lightweight. The net-like design of this material allows water to flow effortlessly through the bag so that way it doesn’t impede the cleaner in any way as it operates.

This part sits atop the cleaner and is white with a black Polaris logo displayed on its top side. There also are two plastic pieces that have prong-like extensions on opposite sides located on the bottom that allow the bag to be clipped and secured to the top of the cleaner. Unlike the zippered all-purpose bag that comes with the 380, this bag has Velcro strips that are used to open the bag to dispose of its contents. This means it will deteriorate quickly over the length of time and use of the cleaner.

Great troubleshooting tip if the cleaner is not moving or cleaning up the dirt and debris efficiently, you may simply need to empty the contents in the bag because it may be full. if you have a salt system on your pool you may need to scrub and clean the bag as the filter system could be clogged with debris.

How To Remove and Replace

This bag has Velcro on the back side so you will go ahead and remove it. This feeds underneath the feed pipe and you can go ahead and lift it up. The bag itself will wiggle up and pop out. To replace the bag, you will wrap it around the tube and feed the Velcro piece underneath the feed mast. This will ensure the bag stays on the cleaner. If you Velcro it above, the bag is going to slip off the minute that it tries to be used again. Make sure you get the Velcro tight and then try to slowly tuck it back down underneath the frame of the cleaner.
