When filling your hot tub as needed it is best to use clean filtered water, this will help prevent the water from becoming cloudy. There are some preventative measures you can take to ensure this doesn't happen. Replacing and cleaning your filters regularly is best. If they aren’t cleaned or replaced regularly it can get clogged and then the hot tub water gets cloudy. Make sure it is cleaned frequently especially when it is not in use. If not cleaned algae can grow and build up quickly. Debris will also fall into the hot tub and this can clog the jets and make bacteria grow faster. One more important preventive you can do is to balance your chemical levels.
