A&A Wave Valve has been updated!

Welcome to another marvelous Monday from ePoolSupply! We have an important topic to go over today; A&A has recently released an upgrade to their ever-popular Low Profile Valve Gear Rebuild Kit and we're here to tell you all about it. Let's dive in!

A new wave of technology is finally here! A&A’s new Wave Valve Cam is finally available for purchase and installation. The Two, Three, and Six Port T-Valve Kits have all been revised and updated. Featuring more optimized cleaning and a better longevity, the new Wave Cam is a well received upgrade to a long running already well made system. The new cam reduces the actual time it takes to change between each zone minimizing the change in pressure and raising the systems efficiency. The Wave has tested pressure swings as low as 0.5 PSI. The new cam system is also color coded for easy identification. The 2 port cam is Red, the 3 port Green, and the 6 port Aqua Blue. With a new cam system comes new part numbers! The 2 Port Low Profile T-Valve Kit (582987), the 3 Port Low Profile T-Valve Kit (582910), and the 6 Port Low Profile T-Valve Kit (582928). The Wave update also features a better quality plastic engineered to withstand harsh conditions and chemicals as well as strenuous use. With that being said, the new Wave system is set to replace the now obsolete 2 and 3 Port T-Valve Kit (550416) and the 6-Port T Valve Kit (550416) effective upon the reading of this article, August 2021. The important thing to gather from this update is that the (550416) accommodated both 2 and 3 Port Installation needs and that is no longer the case regarding 2” Valve Gear kits.

With that being said, the 1 ½“versions have also received an update. 2 and 3 Port 1 ½” Kits are now sold as SKU (585651) and 6 Port 1 ½” as SKU (582936)

The new Wave system works the same way the older model does. The cam simply carries the flap over until the next flap is lifted for the next zone to run. The concept is the same, just more efficient with the new Wave Cam.
